Just jump on the tram.

My day off in Melbourne presented an opportunity to explore the city and get the vibe. I didn’t know exactly where I was going, I just knew I had to jump on a tram to get there.

I wasn’t sure exactly which tram.

I didn’t know exactly how many stops to stay on for.

I just knew it was heading in the right general direction.

I jumped on, stayed alert and flexible and got off and on again whenever I saw something of interest.

Life can be like that.

Business can be like that.

Maintaining good mental health can be like that.

Sometimes we don’t know all the details, we just know the general direction.

It can be nerve wracking jumping on a new venture or trying a new practise when we don’t know the answer to every question, but what life truly requires is forward momentum.

You know where I would NOT have seen the sights of Melbourne from?

Standing at the first tram stop.

Is there a ‘tram’ of momentum that you are hesitating with? If it’s heading in the right direction, maybe it’s time to be brave and jump on.

Try that new idea.

Share that personal story.

Create that well-being habit.

You never know, you might stumble across opportunities you didn’t even know existed.

Let me know when you have taken a risk and reaped positive results!
