Julia Grace Charitable Trust
There are 3 parts to the work of Julia Grace in the mental health sector:
-
Commercial
Be Kind to Your Mind - Julia’s commercial business
Presenting to businesses, Government agencies, commercial enterprises and corporate conferences allows Julia to spread a positive message of practical mental health to people who need it. Being a Keynote speaker allows her to maintain a strong presence in a high level arena, bringing attention and focus to the important messages of Being Kind to Your Mind at all stages of life and career.
Educational and Health agencies are also willing and able to contract Julia to speak to events and conferences across the country and the team works hard to co-ordinate these engagements throughout the year.
-
Complimentary
Julia’s charitable work
As President of the Professional Speakers Association NZ, Julia leads by example by ensuring that a portion of her work each year is done on a complimentary basis. Supporting the work of the Breast Cancer Foundation, community trusts and some of her work with World Vision International is done under this umbrella as well as weekly online.
-
Combined
Subsidised by the Juliagrace Charitable Trust
As you can probably imagine, many more events and organisations would benefit from Julia’s work than she is able to provide on a complimentary basis. To support this, Julia can be subsidised on a case-by-case basis by the Juliagrace Charitable Trust.
What does the trust do?
The Juliagrace Charitable Trust is a registered NZ Charity that helps support and subsidise organisations and events that can only provide a partial fee for a mental health educator’s services but would greatly benefit from this kind of input.
The trust helps to subsidise events and services such as: Education events, Health sector events, community events, church events, presentations for other charitable trusts and other regular radio, TV and podcast work.
As the trust grows, their aim is to subsidise a range of mental health educators and speakers who present positive messages of change in creative ways.
Julia Grace has led the way in the space and as a charitable trust we look forward to engaging other communicators to continue the great work in their spheres of influence.
