School wellbeing that actually sticks

Julia Grace is one of New Zealand's most trusted wellbeing speakers for schools and education teams. Her mental health keynote for educators meets school staff where they are, with neuroscience in plain language, practical tools they can use immediately, and enough humour to make a teacher-only day feel worthwhile.

School wellbeing starts with the adults in the building. Julia's session gives educators and school leaders the language and tools to look after themselves so they can better support the students in their care.

86.6% of NZ education professionals are at high risk of burnout. Prof Jarrod Haar, Massey Business School, 2024

Julia Grace presenting to educators
Four pillars. One framework. Tools that work in the staffroom and beyond.
Pillar 01
Know Your Brain
When you understand why you feel the way you do under pressure, everything shifts. Participants learn how the brain patterns stress responses and why the thinking that feels so real in a hard moment is often the least accurate, and what to do about it.
Pillar 02
Catch It Early
Educators are trained to notice when students are struggling. This pillar turns that same skill inward, teaching participants to recognise their own early warning signals so they can act when action is still easy, before the term gets away from them.
Pillar 03
Build Your Crew
Resilience is not a solo sport, and it is not a personal failing when you need support. Participants learn how to intentionally design their support network before they need it, and how to ask for help in a way that actually works.
Pillar 04
Make It Stick
The best PD in the world fades by Monday if nothing changes. This pillar is about building one small, sustainable habit that compounds into lasting wellbeing. Not an overhaul. Not another thing on the list. Just one degree of change at a time.

Delivered with grab-able language participants take back into their classrooms and a live music moment that brings the room together in a way nobody sees coming.
