Julia Grace Charitable Trust

A registered New Zealand charity that helps subsidise mental health education for organisations and communities who need it most — but can't always afford it.

Charities Registration No. CC57026

About the Trust

Making mental health education accessible

The Julia Grace Charitable Trust exists to close the gap between need and access. Many organisations — schools, community groups, health services, churches — would greatly benefit from quality mental health education but can only contribute a partial fee.

The Trust helps bridge that gap, so the message reaches the people who need it most. As the Trust grows, the aim is to subsidise a range of mental health educators and speakers who present positive messages of change in creative ways.

How it works

Three ways Julia works

01 · Commercial

Be Kind to Your Mind

Julia's commercial business

Presenting to businesses, government agencies, corporate enterprises, and conferences allows Julia to maintain a strong presence at a high level — bringing practical mental health tools to people at all stages of life and career. Educational and health agencies also contract Julia to speak at events and conferences across the country.

02 · Complimentary

Charitable work

Julia's pro bono contribution

As Past President of the Professional Speakers Association NZ, Julia leads by example — ensuring a portion of her work each year is done on a complimentary basis. This includes support for the Breast Cancer Foundation, various health and community trusts, and free online resources for anyone who needs them.

03 · Combined

Trust-subsidised

Supported by generous donors

Many more events and organisations would benefit from Julia's work than she is able to provide on a fully complimentary basis. The Charitable Trust steps in to subsidise engagements on a case-by-case basis — making it possible for groups to access quality mental health education regardless of budget.

"Julia Grace has led the way in this space. As the Trust grows, we look forward to engaging other communicators to continue the great work in their spheres of influence."
